Dearcare Calciss tablet is a combination of Calcium Citrate Malate, Cissus Quadrangularis and Vitamin D3. As per some studies it is found that calcium citrate malate appears to be better absorbed compared with calcium carbonate when taken with food.
CALCIUM:
Calcium is one of the most abundant among the minerals in the body. It is essential for the development and maintenance of bones and teeth. Around 99% of the body, calcium is found in bones and teeth. Milk, yoghurt, cottage cheese and some vegetables are the excellent sources of calcium.
CISSUS QUADRANGULARIS:
It is an indigenous medicinal plant grown in India, Sri Lanka and Africa. It is a traditional remedy used in ayurvedic preparations to improve bone health and healing broken bones. The plant is known as Hadjod in Hindi and Asthisanghata in Sanskrit. Hadjod means that which joins the bones. Cissus Quadrangularis helps to stimulate the metabolism and also helps to increase the uptake of the minerals like Calcium, Phosphorous, Sulphur and Strontium in fracture healing. It also contains vitamin A, vitamin C & Calcium.
